Upgrade from iPortal 7C
If you are using the SuperMap iPortal 7C series or 8C version, you need to upgrade to SuperMap iPortal 8C SP1 version or update Tel: 010-59896716
From the SuperMap iPortal 8C SP1 release, iPortal has been deployed independently and no longer has a built-in SuperMap iServer application server. The previous version of the portal upgrade, mainly in the following areas:
- Portal content upgrades include online maps, registered services, created groups, managed data, managed services, services posted by portal administrators, monitoring data, etc.
- User account data upgrade
- Portal configuration information upgrade
- Front-end portal custom content upgrades
Upgrade from iPortal 8C SP1
From SuperMap iPortal 8C SP1, SuperMap iPortal provides you upgrade script to help you upgrade your old-version SuperMap iPortal to the newest version, which resides in the [SuperMap iPortal installation directory]\support\upgrade folder. The
autoUpgrade.bat file(used for Windows) and the autoUpgrade.sh file (used for Linux) under the directory can be used for upgrading, such as config files, images, home page customization, etc.
Note: Before upgrading, please read the readme_zh_cn.txt file in this directory carefully.
Contents which needs to be upgraded manually
After upgrading by running the script, there are still some files need to be manually upgraded:
- Open the {IPORTAL_HOME_NEW}/conf/server.xml file in your new iPortal, modify the connector port, context path, context docBase and other customized configurations according to the coresponding configurations in the {IPORTAL_HOME_OLD}/conf/server.xml file in your old-version iPortal.
- The iportal-storage.xml in the new-version iPortal needs to be configured through the interface: Management->Server Management->Hosted Server->Hosted Data Configuration. And the parameters should be consistent with the configurations in your old-version file: {IPORTAL_HOME_OLD}/webapp(s)/iportal/WEB-INF/iportal-storage.xml, refer to: Hosted services configuration.
- If your old-version iPortal was customized for development, you need to upgrade the customized contents manually according to: Considerations on merging codes when upgrading iPortal.
