SuperMap iPortal provides the functionality of hosting services, and iPortal users with the DATA_CENTER rolecan upload data to the portal (how can the data be uploaded to the portal? Please see: my data. ) Randomly distributed to multiple SuperMap iServer servers (iPortal administrators have designated as a hosting server) to publish the hosting service without having to understand any information about iServer.
Before you publish the hosting service, make sure that the iPortal administrator has already configred hosting service and added one or more hosting servers for publishing the service.
For the correspondence relationship between the uploaded data type, the data file, and the type of service published, see Table 1: Correspondence between the data type_ data file and the service type.
The iPortal user with the DATA_CENTER role log in to the portal page, select the Personal Center -> My Data, enter the "My Data" page, click the "Upload Data" button, and in the dialog box that appears, select the data type and corresponding data file, and finally click "OK" button to complete the data upload.
After the data is successfully uploaded, click the
button
to publish the service. In the "Publish Service" tab, select
the type of publish service, including SuperMap REST map service, data
service or 3D service, support multiple selection, and then click the
OK button to start publishing service, then the status column will be
displayed to be the "published", when the publication is successful,
the status column will show "release is complete."
The service published will be displayed under the corresponding
data, marked with the icon, the service name is named
with the "service type + data name". For example, the service
type of the service is "map service", the zip name of the uploaded
data is "City" The service is named "map_City", if
the zip package's name of uploaded dataname is Chinese, the corresponding
service name is the Chinese Pinyin. You can click the
button
to view the service address, click the
button
to delete the service, after the delete operation, the service is not
only removed from the portal, which in the managed server also deleted.
Service publishers (also data uploaders) can manage hosting services on the ”My service“page. Such as: view the hosting service address, delete the hosting service, you can also edit the basic information of the hosting services, setting hosting services as shared.
When you create a map with DataViz, you can add the published SuperMap REST map service as a web layer by "Add From Search". Moreover, you can add other SuperMap REST map services or data services on web as web layers by "Add From Web".
