Feedback

SuperMap iPortal provides the functionality of hosting services, and iPortal users with the DATA_CENTER rolecan upload data to the portal (how can the data be uploaded to the portal? Please see: my data. ) Randomly distributed to multiple SuperMap iServer servers (iPortal administrators have designated as a hosting server) to publish the hosting service without having to understand any information about iServer.

Publish a hosted service

Before you publish the hosting service, make sure that the iPortal administrator has already configred hosting service and added one or more hosting servers for publishing the service.

For the correspondence relationship between the uploaded data type, the data file, and the type of service published, see Table 1: Correspondence between the data type_ data file and the service type.

  1. upload data

The iPortal user with the DATA_CENTER role log in to the portal page, select the Personal Center -> My Data, enter the "My Data" page, click the "Upload Data" button, and in the dialog box that appears, select the data type and corresponding data file, and finally click "OK" button to complete the data upload.

  1. Publish a hosting service

After the data is successfully uploaded, click the button to publish the service. In the "Publish Service" tab, select the type of publish service, including SuperMap REST map service, data service or 3D service, support multiple selection, and then click the OK button to start publishing service, then the status column will be displayed to be the "published", when the publication is successful, the status column will show "release is complete."

  1. View hosting services

The service published will be displayed under the corresponding data, marked with the icon, the service name is named with the "service type + data name". For example, the service type of the service is "map service", the zip name of the uploaded data is "City" The service is named "map_City", if the zip package's name of uploaded dataname is Chinese, the corresponding service name is the Chinese Pinyin. You can click the button to view the service address, click the button to delete the service, after the delete operation, the service is not only removed from the portal, which in the managed server also deleted.

Hosted service management

Service publishers (also data uploaders) can manage hosting services on the ”My service“page. Such as: view the hosting service address, delete the hosting service, you can also edit the basic information of the hosting services, setting hosting services as shared.

Use hosted services

When you create a map with DataViz, you can add the published SuperMap REST map service as a web layer by "Add From Search". Moreover, you can add other SuperMap REST map services or data services on web as web layers by "Add From Web".
