Searching resources

SuperMap iPortal, as a cloud GIS portal platform, provides GIS resource integration and discovery capabilities for maps, services, scenarios, data, applications, etc., to help you find GIS resources for location and location quickly and easily. iPortal supports the rapid positioning of resources such as map, service, scene, data, application, group and so on through fuzzy search, classified filtering, label filtering, sorting and sorting.

Click "Resource Center" on the iPortal homepage, select "Map", "Service", "Scene", "Data" in the drop-down list, enter the corresponding resource page, click "Application Center" directly to enter the application resource page, Click on the shortcut link "group", you can enter the group resource page, through the following ways to retrieve resources:

• Fuzzy search

Fuzzy queries are retrieved by key characters For specific operations, enter key characters in the search box for the map, service, scene, data, application or group page, such as "world", press the Enter key or click the Search button.

• Map resources, supported by the name of the map, the owner of the key characters to retrieve;
• Service resources, support retrieving by service name, service url address, the owner of the key characters;
• Scene resources, support retrieving by the scene name, the owner of the key characters;
• Data resources, support retrieving by key names of data names;
• Application resources, support retrieving by application name, url address of the application of key characters;
• Group resources that are support retrieving by key characters of the group name.
• Classification filtering

Classification filtering acquiescence is the different types of resources in accordance with its source, type, etc. to classify, and you can quickly find a certain type of all resources in the resource list :

• Map resources, support classification filtering according to the type of map source, such as: "SuperMap REST", "WMS", "WMTS", "MAPVIEWER", and so on;
• Service resources, support filtering according to the type of service, such as: "SuperMap REST", "ArcGIS REST", "WMS", "WFS", "WMTS", "WCS", "WPS", and so on;
• Group resources, support filtering in accordance with the type of group, such as "I created the group", "I joined the group" and so on.

Classification filtering allows administrators toconfigure custom directories, to meet the practical needs of the application. After the administrator has configured the map, service, scene and data in the map / service / scene / data page, the custom directory structure will be displayed. Changes to custom directories, and newly created or added maps, registered services, added scenes, uploaded data will be displayed in the "default directory", if you want to adjust the directory structure, or want to new to add a resource for classification, contact your iPortal administrator and only the administrator has permission to customize the directory configuration.

• Tag filtering

Labels are features of maps, services, scenes, data, applications, and group owners that are easier to identify in the resource list and can be filtered by clicking on a label.

• Sort by class

Sorting is the sort of resources according to certain characteristics, so that disorderly list of resources become rules to facilitate users to more clearly and intuitively find the target resources.

• Map resources, support through the update time, the number of visits to sort, which can help you to find the latest and most popular maps;
• Service resources, support through the service name, owner, update time and type of service to sort; when enabled registration service proxy function in iPortal, it will record the service visit counts, so sort by the service visits is supported.
• Scene resources, support sorting through the scene name, owner, update time and the number of visits;
• Application resources, support sorting through the application name, owner and registration date;
• Group resources, support sorting by group name, creator, and creation time.
