On the My Maps page, you can view all maps you created
and added, including the title, type, number of visits, update time, and
so on. Moreover, you can create new maps, delete maps, edit maps, and
share maps.
Maps created or added by ordinary users could be added
in the portal without audition by the administrator by default. The administrator
could also enable map audition. Then maps created or added by ordinary
users could only be added to iPortal after being audited by the administrator.
After you created or added a map, you can view the audit status of the
map on My Maps page
Specifically, you could do operations below:
- Create New Map: Click the Create Map button
to perform Online Mapping.
- Share Data: You can choose one or more maps,
then click button of Sharing Settings, or the icon
in the list of Operation column, and then finish the sharing settings
in the Map Sharing Settings dialog box that display.
- Private: Default is private, namely, a map
can only be viewed and edited by the one who added it.
- Public: All users (including anonymous users)
are allowed to access the map. Also, you can specify the map could
be edited by all users (including anonymous users).
- Department: Members of a department can view
and edit the map.
- Group: Members of a group can view and edit
the map.
- Specified Users: Only specified users can view
the map. You can also specify whether these users can edit the map
or not.
- Delete Map: Select one or more maps then click
Delete button, or in the "Operation" column of one map,
click Delete button

- Edit Map: Click the Edit icon
, you can then edit the
map. Save the modification to allow other users view the results.
- Edit Map Properties: Click on the map title,
enter the map details page, click the Edit Properties button, you
can then edit the map's properties. You can modify the map name and
description, change the thumbnail by uploading a local picture. You
can click the Edit Map button to edit the map again.
- Check Map Audition Status: You could check
the audit status of the map. If not passed by the administrator, you
could see the audit information (map audit function is not enabled
by default).
