Managing scenes

SuperMap iPortal provides the following scene management functions:

• Add Scenes in Batch: Used to add scenes in batch by inputting the 3D service address.
• Manage Scenes: Manage all the scenes added in iPortal (view, edit, search and delete).

Add Scenes in Batch

SuperMap iPortal supports to register all-version (including the lowest version) SuperMap iServer services to portal in batch.

Log in to your portal, click Management> Resources Management>Scene, click "Add scene in batch", then perform the following steps to finish the adding process.

1. Input the service address

Enter the 3D service address in the pop-up dialog box. 3D service address requires the actual ip address or domain name, and the commonly used 3D service address formats are as follows:

• Service root address: when inputting this service address, all the scenes of the public 3D services under the services directory will be added into your portal.
• http://supermapiserver:8090/iserver/services
• Specific 3D service address: when inputting this service address, all the scenes of the corresponding service will be added into your portal.
• http://supermapiserver:8090/iserver/services/3D-ChinaProvinces/rest

2. Set the sharing scope

You can share the scenes to be added with all portal users (including anonymous users), specified groups, specified users, or don't share with anyone, ie., just can be accessed by yourself. When sharing with specified users, if you enable the organizational structure, here you can share them with your organazation's members by adding the members into the target users. After the scenes have been successfully added, you can also sharing scenes in Personal Center>My Scenes.

3. Click the "OK" button to complete the batch registration.

Currently only support for adding the SuperMap REST 3D services to scenes in batch.

Manage Scenes

As administrator, you can perform the following operations on scenes by entering Management > Resources Management > Scene.

View/Edit Basic Scene Infos

Click one specified scene, detailed info page will appear, click "Edit" button at the right bottom page, you can replace the thumbnail and edit the scene name, tags and description.

Delete Scenes

Check one or multiple scenes and click "Delete" button to remove the scenes you don't need anymore.

Search Scenes

Search the scenes you want to find by input the scenes name or the scenes owner in input box on the right bottom page.
