SuperMap iPortal's administrator can log in to the portal, configure the portal site, manage the resources, including maps, services, scenes, data, applications, insight, groups and so on in the portal, monitor the GIS server, and view the statics of portal users and resources.

Before starting SuperMap iPortal, you need to configure the database. SuperMap iPortal's portal data, security information and monitoring information are stored in the SQLiite database by default. The database does not need to be installed and managed. For large data volume and high concurrency, it is recommended that you should configure the MySQL database. Among them, the MySQL database configuration of the security information store can be configured in the management interface after the iPortal is started. For the specific configuration, please refer to theDatabase Configuration.

After starting SuperMap iPortal, visit the URI (local): http: // localhost: 8090 / iportal. To create an administrator account, you can go to the SuperMap iPortal homepage and click the "Login" button in the upper right corner to log in as the administrator account. You can see the "Manage" entry in the Home menu and click to enter the portal manager interface.

You can view the number of maps created in the current portal, the number of registered services, the number of uploaded data, the number of groups created, the number of added scenes, and the number of registered iPortal users in the SuperMap iPortal Administration home page. Server information, such as the number of monitored GIS servers, the number of unread exceptions, and the topology map that monitors the node status of the GIS server and the last 24 hours of service traffic statistics monitored by the server node.
