PostgreSQL overview

Feedback

PostgreSQL is an open source object-relational database, developed by the global volunteer development team of the PostgreSQL community. PostgreSQL supports most of the SQL standards and provides many other modern features with a good reputation for data integrity and correctness, i.e., complex queries, foreign keys, triggers, views, transactional integrity, Multi-version concurrency control(MVCC), etc.

PostgreSQL can be used to store security information in iServer/iPortal/iEdge. In iPortal, PostgreSQL can also be used to store portal data.
